It's often assumed that if you aren't on one side then it must be the other as if there were only two perspectives. My viewpoints more closely align with the conservatives and the liberals are not reality based thinkers it would seem.
 
The biggest problem with the liberals and Democrats, is they have no clue about the type of government the USA has.

Democrats keep screaming " Trump is a threat to Democracy !!"

He damn better well be ! Him and every other elected member of Congress. Problem is, that is exactly what the Democrats in office want. Why do you think they allow illegals to vote? It is to gain a simple majority and do away with the Electoral College.

We are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC ! Not a Democracy !

KNOW the DIFFERENCE !!

With a Democracy, if the majority of people in your voting district voted to seize your house, throw you out, and let illegals live there instead of you, that would be the law.

A Constitutional Republic endows Rights to the individual that protects them and their property.

It also stops a simple majority from enacting laws that goes against those Rights.

It also give Power to the citizenship to hold those elected into office accountable for their actions, or inactions.
The Constitution stops the Government from erasing, or outlawing those Rights.
 
In school we learned the concept of Conservative vs Liberal and I thought why would anybody be Conservative? All the things and experiences you will never have just because they conflict with your ideology. The biggest reason...tradition. If your parents were Conservative then you probably are too. My parents were apolitical, it was never discussed, so I grew up thinking what ever I wanted.

The biggest problem with republicans and conservatives is they can’t seem to understand that we have always been a democratic republic, yes article iv section iv states we are guaranteed a republican form of government but you’re either dumb or purposefully ignoring context and reality. On our local and state level, majority democracy, the most votes win in the respective city, county, districts, etc. elections, no republic there at all. Well, for one reason someone would choose conservatism over liberalism, is the liberal belief that children should be taught about adult things , not only about sex, but of teaching them it is ok to act and behave any way you want and people should be forced to accept you, and patronize your expectations, no matter how out of reality they are.

Conservatives want everything public be accessible to everyone at any time.
Liberals want everything they do to be hidden and closed to any questioning.
